Sleek and Sexy and… Lenovo?

I’m confused by this… and a little excited to. I haven’t finished researching it yet, but Lenovo seems to have come out with their own Table/Slate device. Looks like more manufacturers are beating Apple to the punch.

It’s called the Ideapad U1 hybrid notebook tablet, and though still in development, if it lives up to it’s promise I might just have to sell my soul for it! The Ideapad is actually two devices, that can be joined together. One is a multitouch tablet that runs Linux with Qualcomm’s ARM 1Ghz Snapdragon processor.

The other is a Windows 7 notebook with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU 4100 processor.

I pretty much stole this story from Gizmodo, pictures and all, so you should check them out for more details!

IDDQD is for… Windows 7???

During the past few days, Windows fans have been buzzing about a folder in Windows 7 (and the 32-bit version of Vista) that grants godly powers! This folder, once created, contains 294 shortcuts to various tools and features found within Windows 7. some are normal Control Panel items, but other tools are buried deep within other Control Panel options and can be very difficult to find.

In the GodMode folder, shortcuts to all of those tools are categorized under sections and freely searchable. To make this folder and become a god of your own, just create a new folder on your desktop with the name:

GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Upon creating the folder, its name will change its self to GodMode, and the icon will change to a Control Panel icon. Now open to the folder to discover your new god-like abilities. (Oh, I’ve heard reports of this crashing 64bit 7, but have not validated it myself)
