I’ve never really cared much about Bing and all of their “Compare Bing to Google! You’ll like Bing more!” commercials.. But now they are showing up on my social networks and I can’t seem to avoid it.. I decided to check it out (due solely to the picture of a pink lake I saw mind you!) and here is what I found. I admit I’m partial to Google, and I like their results better… but why do you suppose Bing needs to exclude part of the Google results in it’s comparison page? Does Microsoft assume we will never run the searches for our selves? Do these differences even matter? While we’re at it, which search do you prefer? Yes, it’s a massive single image… sorry ^_^
Remember back in the day when Mortal Kombat came out? Remember the days of fatalities, babalities and animalities? Well sadly those days are no more… but the creators of Mortal Kombat have given us something new this year. Bone crunching action; see what ribs your punches crack, watch that skull fracture on impact, kick a leg inward and watch your opponent fall to the ground. Sweet bloody delicious violence, just what you would expect from Mortal Kombat!
Available on Xbox 360 and PS3 this April!
Check out this crazy footage from the upcoming Mortal Kombat game!
I am sure many of you are familiar with and have already played the original Angry Birds. Now, the company has announced their upcoming release, ‘Angry Birds Rio’. Rovio Mobile has released a trailer of the upcoming Angry Birds Rio. Angry Birds Rio is a collaboration between 20th Century Fox and Rovio Mobile. The Angry Birds Rio game will be available in March 2011 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Check out the trailer here!
I’m confused by this… and a little excited to. I haven’t finished researching it yet, but Lenovo seems to have come out with their own Table/Slate device. Looks like more manufacturers are beating Apple to the punch.
It’s called the Ideapad U1 hybrid notebook tablet, and though still in development, if it lives up to it’s promise I might just have to sell my soul for it! The Ideapad is actually two devices, that can be joined together. One is a multitouch tablet that runs Linux with Qualcomm’s ARM 1Ghz Snapdragon processor.
The other is a Windows 7 notebook with an Intel Core 2 Duo SU 4100 processor.
I pretty much stole this story from Gizmodo, pictures and all, so you should check them out for more details!
During the past few days, Windows fans have been buzzing about a folder in Windows 7 (and the 32-bit version of Vista) that grants godly powers! This folder, once created, contains 294 shortcuts to various tools and features found within Windows 7. some are normal Control Panel items, but other tools are buried deep within other Control Panel options and can be very difficult to find.
In the GodMode folder, shortcuts to all of those tools are categorized under sections and freely searchable. To make this folder and become a god of your own, just create a new folder on your desktop with the name:
Upon creating the folder, its name will change its self to GodMode, and the icon will change to a Control Panel icon. Now open to the folder to discover your new god-like abilities. (Oh, I’ve heard reports of this crashing 64bit 7, but have not validated it myself)
